Siem Reap Flood Has Receded...

Good morning from Siem Reap, (updated)

It's just a great relief after seeing much of the water has disappeared from our house and our street this morning! Thank GOD for pushing the mess away and make us stay dry again after over a week long of submersion in HIS MERCY RIVER OF LOVE!
However, we know that there are hundreds of houses in Siem Reap, not to mention other heavy areas in Cambodian, still under water and several street also still flooded, but it should be gone soon as the sun is shining loudly. As of us, yeah,,, clean up time.... It's a real big mess..
One more good thing is that tourists will be able to enjoy their temples time again - sunshine, no water and no rain.. It's a great, beautiful day as we woke up...
Once again, my brothers and I would like to thank everyone for their kind support, messages and lovely encouragement all the way... I told you guys, we will survive for sure..
So that's all for now.. Talk to you soooon!

**** We are enjoying great weather: beautiful sunshine, blue sky and great cool wind.. So please come to visit Siem Reap now.. We all welcome you with a wide open arms..

Flooding Siem Reap Sept. 2011: Photos and Video updates

UPDATE (05.10.11):
If you are wondering if you should come to Siem Reap or not starting this week; please feel at peace that Siem Reap River can hold all the water. We're NOT flooded anymore!!! Even though we got some big rains a few days ago, the river does her business in containing the water and pushing it down to the lake. And of course, we're enjoying sunny beautiful day almost a week already.. So please come and enjoy with us the scene and sound of Siem Reap!

The Wrath of GOD
(27.09.11)
Time and time again we see the greatness of GOD as well as His sadness revealed. We cannot give them in full details, but precisely the massive natural disaster in Cambodia! Not just millions of people are sufferings, animals are drowning, dying and farm lands are deeply covered with water. Flood is taking over Siem Reap now. Let’s see how long this mother nature’s anger will haunt us.

May GOD have mercy on us - innocent people; and teach those who were directly and indirectly destroyed our forest and natural resources...
DEFORESTATION vs. DEVELOPMENT
We all witness the power of GOD to wash a way sins of the people......

Our great leader - Hun Sen

We're grateful to our national and local governments for their rapid response to the floods and worked hard to rescue tourists, people and live stocks around the country. Their credits should be rewarded from above...

Also we're in deep grieve for which massive of our natural treasures/resources are abused and destroyed.. Should land concession and forest concession be continued?? Their invasive & abusive acts should be rewarded from below..
It gives more pain than gain..
When 2 big floods take over Siem Reap this September is NOT FunnY. The 2nd one is longer, larger/deeper and depressive! Who really gain from the DEFORESTATION?

Brave tuk tuks, Overflow river
My brothers enjoy the flood...

Who really gain from all these natural disasters in Cambodia, precisely?
We see 3 groups of people: ordinary people, government and loggers/project developers/gigantic investors. To find out who are really the WINNERS & LOSERS, please continue to watch the 'Cambodian Films' which are written, funded, directed, shot, and produced by so many world-acclaimed doctors, heavenly-brilliant and brainy people...

Dark, Quiet Pub StreeeeeeeeeeeT
Play time as work against the flood seems impossible!
*** Disclaimer: I don't criticize anyone, individual, organization, group or any official; I only express - words & photos and echo what have also been seen by millions and millions of eyes around the globe...
